  • In honor of Earth Day, the American Corner Budapest will host two groups of elementary school students from Tapolca, Hungary. AC Budapest intern, ERICA GOLDABER will give a presentation about Earth Day and the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. Students will learn about the history of Earth Day and enjoy the beautiful photos of the famous cherry trees from the capital of the United States. Please note that registration for present event has been closed.
    Earth Day has evolved into a sometimes week long event celebrating our environment and promoting community service. Local and national campaigns aim to get people of all ages involved in a range of activites from tree planting to park and river clean-ups.
