  • Come and join us on Tuesday, the 4th of April at 5:30 pm to hear a presentation on "Collegiate Athletics in the United States" by Fulbright Scholar DR. JAMES LONG. Collegiate athletics are an important part of campus life in the United States, providing student-athletes with financial support for their education and fostering a sense of community and connection between students, faculty, staff and alumni. Our TALC session will cover the financial impact of collegiate athletics, the role of governing bodies such as the NCAA, "March Madness" (the NCAA's men's basketball tournament, a national passion), and examples of specific collegiate athletic traditions from Auburn University, Dr. Long's institution in the United States.

Please note that registration is NOT required for present event.
